CVs and conversational interviews are the most common recruitment hiring tools, and yet they’re outdated. We interviewed hundreds of HR managers from startups, scaleups and bigger companies: the old way of hiring wastes their time, energy and finances. It also fails to address their main concern: “does this candidates have the skills that fit the job?”, leaving them to solely rely on their intuition.
We built Maki to address these issues and create the modern way of hiring, for recruiters and candidates.
With a team of experts, we designed skills tests, data and analysis tools that are bias-free and help recruiters focus on candidates’ actual competencies, to assess them faster.
We grew an amazing community of highly talented experts committed to sharing knowledge.
In a few months, our fantastic team built a platform from scratch that’s easy to use, yet powerful. Its customizable scoring system enables recruiters to spot top candidates in a glance, and its interactive features strengthen their employer brand while guiding candidates throughout the entire process.
We help companies find top talents and build happier, more diverse teams, while supporting candidates in their search for their dream job.
That’s why we’re called Maki - a quirky and friendly name that can be pronounced in every language. Inspired by the Maki Catta, a social and agile animal. It means "You Can Make It".
