This is a multiple choice listening test which will assess whether the test-taker's capacity to understand spoken English typical of candidates at a C1 level on the CEFR European framework. The questions will focus on listening sub-skills such as: inferring meaning, listening for specific details, listening for negative meaning and for particular emphasis in spoken English. The listening texts come from a variety of fields within the business world and include excerpts of interviews, monologues and phone calls. However, a knowledge of specialist vocabulary used in specific professions is not required.
